Research Resource Bank Building
The Research Resource Bank Building was constructed in 1996 to store valuable specimens related to Minamata disease and to contribute to future research. The National Institute for Minamata Disease collects and stores various specimens in the RRB, mainly for use in pathological research. It is one of the institute's responsibilities to organize and store pathological specimens and materials related to Minamata disease. The RRB at our center is also a valuable facility for the preservation of a large number of pathological specimens from a single disease.
